Throughout my experiences of using this business, the dispensing services and the overall levels of customer care have been appalling. That's a real shame, because the optometry service is brilliant. As a smallish player, I suspect the laboratory services they use aren't too concerned as to the results, on the basis that Brown & White are just another small client: The first set of glasses I had required total re-manufacture within the first two years, because the "hard" coating rubbed off with cleaning (draw your own conclusions there). Following routine eye-tests for some years, I then obviously needed new glasses. It then took four attempts, from January 2014, to get those spectacles (which cost around £800) optically correct and then,very recently, one of the expensive titanium frame side arms broke after only 18 months or so of relatively light use. Their response was they didn't deal with the frame supplier anymore and so couldn't get any spares. I have to live with a poorly executed bodge, since they will take no further responsibility. I am not going back.
