Rang today close to 12 month test to make appointment as I'm having trouble reading. Short shrift attitude , did I realise that if nothing wrong I would have to pay? I'm 62 and free test , although practice knows my parents had glaucoma and I'm concerned. . I said okay if you want to charge that's fine. Very disconcerted , went away , thought about it and decided to change practice. We like the Optician but they've lost two patients today. The receptionist in question has been seen to give elderly patients less than caring response , we are not elderly but I absolutely won't be spoken to like that.
