I bought a pair of spectacles at Young's opticians in Croydon. Shortly after buying them, the frame broke spontaneously which I thought was a bit unusual. I took them back to the opticians who advised they couldn't repair the frame because the part was no longer available and suggested I buy a new frame for the lenses that were almost new and still the right prescription for me. When I went to pick them up I discovered that the lenses had been badly scratched by the opticians, so much that I couldn't use the spectacles any more. The owner, refused to take responsibility and said that I had changed the frame at my own risk, how is that possible!
