I have used Glyn Jones opticians for over 35 years and have always received excellent service. The staff are also extremely helpful when it comes to choosing from the numerous selection of frames. Original Comment Report...

Been a customer on and off for many years. I agree with some of the comments regarding the staff being stand offish. One or two members of staff are very helpful when you catch them in the right frame of mind. I did request a change in optician as I did not feel happy and my ratings went from zero to 10 star for the optician. I also landed on an excellent sales person on my last visit so thumbs up for that person too. However the text reminder service is not good. My current next appointment is the cancelled one. I don’t appear to get the correct information texted until the day prior to my next appointment. Unfortunate if it happens to be a Sunday and you cannot make the Monday appointment at 9 am. I feel the business lacks any form of staff training on dealing with customers and have wondered if there is a manager to deal with any complaints as none has come forward when I’ve had issues previously. I am happy at the moment but that has taken time and effort on both sides. Original Comment Report...

Not very happy with the staff downstairs because my husband was late for five minutes and when he checked in by the desk the male receptionist just told him to take a sit. My poor husband been waiting downstairs with many staff member but not even one asked him what is he waiting for. So I asked my husband to ask the receptionist again by this time it was a lady. My husband told her that he’s been waiting to be seen. Then when the lady checked the computer the appointment was already cancelled . My husband explain why he was late and he wasn’t given proper instruction where to take a sit.. Still refused to check his eyes.It was very disappointing . Original Comment Report...

Thank you for taking the time to leave the feedback above. Myself and the shop floor manager have investigated the occurrence this morning and we apologise sincerely for the poor service you and your husband received. I can only describe the events as a breakdown in communication between one of our junior reception staff and the clinical team upstairs. We will be using your feedback during our next staff training session to prevent further occurrences.
