I used boots ilford as my nominated pharmacy. More than once they failed to text me when prescription was ready leaving me suffering my migraine needlessly. On this occasion I had to queue up for 45 minutes to pick up my prescription. In the queue I watched how they dealt with the customers in front of me, unable to locate their prescriptions despite customers being told by text that they were ready. Every customer waiting for a long time and then being told to wait another hour as their medication was not ready. Not one apology from any staff member to any customer there. When one woman said she couldn't wait another hour she received a nasty look and was told that everyone had to wait. Hilariously the queue is called express pickup! When it was finally my turn I suffered the same fate. 3 members of staff spending 10 minutes on the computer trying to find out about my prescription order. Then I was told to wait an hour and sit down. No apology. No smile. Nothing. I told them I couldn't wait that long and they stared blankly. I then complained that no member of staff had apologised for this delay to me or to anyone else for this incompetence but again they stared blankly. No apology at all. Nothing. I was shocked as I have never seen such bad customer service in my life. A simple smile, sorry about the wait etc can go a long way but even when I'm asking for an apology for their incompetence, no one apologised. I asked them to cancel my subscription with them as I couldn't bear to return there. I have never made a complaint before or left a bad review but this is no exaggeration and it left me feeling really confused and upset. Very very disappointed and shocked customer. They need a lot of training in people skills. I feel sorry for the people who are still left to their mercy. Very bad experience, the staff at the prescriptions area don't know a bit about customer services, they try to show as if they are busy if they don't know about something we ask. |
