My 83 year old mother in law had eyes tested and just wanted new varifocal lenses in both her glasses and sunglasses. She collected both pairs of glasses. The distance part of the lense was fine but not the reading part, so she returned, only to be told to use her old glasses for reading. Having paid £400+ for this service she was unhappy. The owner was too busy with another customer to speak with her at this time And was away on holiday the next day. My mother in law rang back after a week or two and asked to speak with the owner who was away again this time for several weeks. An appointment was made to have her eyes re tested . The newly retested lenses worked fine but she was told in no uncertain terms by the owner that if they were not satisfactorytherewas nithingthey coukd do. My mother in law is a very vunerable lady who needs a frame to walk with. The fact that she was left in this situationfir several weeks was totally unacceptable. She will NOT be teturni g for any further services. She should have gone to specsavers!
