I returned to the store and asked to speak to the manager. He listened and gave me time, apologised, which I happily accepted, and adjusted my new glasses to my satisfactory. I will return in a year and give them a second chance. |

I booked an eye test. Arrived on time to find they were running 1 hour late, because the opticians train was late! Ordered my new prescription and new frames after being tested. Collected specs after 1 week. Got home but could only use them if I closed 1 eye! Booked a retest.
On the day of the 2nd test received a phone call to cancel because opticians car had broken down, so rebooked again! Had retest and prescription was reduced from +3.00 to +2.25. Another week later collected glasses. Vision fine this time but they had been adjusted so one arm is at 90° over the ear, I was told it was because they are fragile and could not be adjusted any more. But they are too uncomfortable to wear more than a few minutes,so I will have to return yet again.
Each time is a 50 mile round trip!
NEVER AGAIN. |

I asked a question about my prescription to a person working at Tesco opticians, and they simply read a word that are written on a prescription...I mean I can that read that word too but I wanted to know what it meant, since it was my first time receiving a prescription from an optician. And, they bluntly ignored me and carried on typing without further explaining it to me while, I am clearly saying I am confused. Worst opticians with no good customer service, which I think Tesco should re-look at it! Now, I have to visit another optician now, who are more reliable and willing to give a good customer service! |
