I’m not one to complain but I left the pharmacy quite angry and confused. A Doctor had prescribed me new medication On Monday early afternoon and sent it through to the pharmacy. I go in the pharmacy Tuesday morning, ask for my prescription to be told it will be done by 18:00 today. The next customer came up and asked for hers and she was asked if it was just put through and she said ‘yes’ to be told it’s about a 10 minute wait. Me confused asked why I had to wait until 18:00 for a new medication yesterday yet if it had just been put through they would have done it. Instead I will have to go back out when they could have said to me it will be a 10 minute wait! I understand when they are repeat medication or it’s medication you have ordered yourself as you should be putting it through 7 days prior and giving the pharmacy 3 days to do it but I am struggling to understand that a new medication from the doctor that has been sent through (one I know they have plenty on the shelf as I use to work in pharmacies) is not done because the pile of prescriptions from the day before is “huge”. Not Happy!!!!!

Find some of the staff very RUDE / BLUNT / and bad attitude. As no need to talk to me like I'm a child as I'm an Adult. Dr sent urgent prescription through yet i left it a good 15hrs before rang to only be told no it's not been done and do I need it today. Ermmm in my mind was thinking id not of been calling or prescription be urgent if I didn't require it today. The lady was very RUDE anout it saying it'll be late this afternoon when be ready. And to maybe not leave it until such short notice if required urgent. Will I do apologise as wasn't a planned thing. This isn't the first time some of the staff talk to you like they have high PMT. They are thier to serve the public and its very unprofessional a prison job be better suited to some with there Tone and attitude.
