Been using this pharmacy for years. Always so clean and staff so friendly. Small shOp so don't have many hair products and makeup but If they don't have something you're looking for they always offer to order it.
Medicines wise they usually have everything in-if they have to order they always have it by the afternoon or next day.
Same pharmacist which is helpful when dealing with issues. Caring and efficient staff.
Would recommend to everyone! |

I went there for my repeat prescriptions and after 48 hours later when I called to collect it, I was told that my GP had cancelled it and so unable to collect. I was surprised by this, so I contacted my GP surgery and they told me that they had not cancelled my prescriptions at all and they're surprised as well.
My GP surgery told me that the Sai Chemists had not electronically submitted the request for my prescription from my GP surgery, which normally Chemists had to do.
As I had hardly any medications left, I was desperate. I later went back to Sai Chemists and their pharmacist refuse to accept their fault and became argumentative and then I had to hand out my mobile phone to them so that they could speak to my GP surgery staff, to say it's OK to dispense my medication.
The whole episode left me emotionally scared and angry and I will never go back to see them and their disorganized and chaotic repeat prescription management system. Reply from Sai Chemists Fri, 16 Jun 2017 17:13:41 +0100 Dear Patient, We are sorry you felt this way about our service but as was explained to you on the day, the request to your surgery was indeed sent but the prescription had not yet been authorised by your doctor. Furthermore, as per our conversation in person and on the phone, we could not issue you an emergency supply due to the dose discrepancy on your previous prescription. As pharmacists, we need to ensure that the medication provided to you is correct and safe, and this would not have been the case had an emergency supply been issued. We always aim to provide excellent patient care and we are sorry that you felt that you did not receive this on your visit. |

I have my regular blood pressure medicines sent electronically every month by my doctor and Sai Chemists always keeps it ready and calls me for collection or delivery, and on my visit today they also offered me a Free NHS flu vaccine as they reminded me that it was due this year. The vaccine was given within 2 minutes and I was on my way as i had parked my car on a yellow line;. Staff are very friendly & helpful very quick service. I will continue to use them for all my medicines and i will recommend them to my family and friends and neighbours.Thank you Sai chemists. |
