Absolutely disgusting pharmacist and staff. Witholding important pain medication for months by saying the item is out of stock, yet every other chemist can get exactly the same product, or holds it in stock. If you complain to their head office, you will be faced with nasty comments, confrontational attacks, abuse and accusations of lying about medication that is owed as they never give out owing slips. Having prescriptions waved in your face by the pharmacist when he comes out of the dispensing area to verbally attack you is normal. He does not like it if you respond though, as a mere elderly, disabled female should know her place. The fact that this pharmacy and pharmacist are claiming and being paid for items they are not actually dispensing shows exactly one of the reasons why the NHS is loosing money to fraud.

Generally they're on the ball with prescriptions and most items are ready on time . The down side is that they add items that have not been ordered and you end up with the usual overstock . I can only surmise this is done to boost cash flow as even though we have pre paid perscription cards i assume the rest of the bill is being footed by our increasingly struggling NHS . These dubious practices seem to go on all over the country and i can only imagine what it costs us the tax payer . My advice is if you get something you havent ordered query it because were all paying for it .
