I've been a customer of the Pharmacy in Sidwell Street for more than 30 years. Since it has been taken over by Jhoots it has been a nightmare. Many customers are the local drug addicts who hang around bantering with the staff, there are long queues and sometimes the pharmacy doesn't have the medication required. Staff seem to change frequently and the outside appearance of the premises is scruffy. It is quite an unpleasant atmosphere for an older lady and the staff can be offhand (probably due to the stress of their down-and-out customer base). Sorry to say that or this reason, I am going to move my pharmacy to Boots or Superdrug.

I have used this pharmacy for over 40 years and its always been a very popular and pleasant place to be but since Jhoots took over it has gone from bad to worse, noone knows what is going on with prescriptions i have seen wrong drugs being given, no staff to serve any one waiting i have been in there now for almost an hour waiting for one box of pills, the director either needs to sort it out or let someone who knows what is happening have the job, it needs a damned good shake up, shame on all of you in head office!!
