    I go to pick up a prescription for my friend once a week, I find them rude and condescending. The latest trouble ,the pharmacy has been closed for the past 3 yes 3 weeks, a notice has been posted on the door,to obtain prescriptions from another store.which my friend tried but to no avail . Weather its the doctors which are attached to the pharmacy or the pharmacy its self?, the service is rubbish,he still hasn't had anything,almost a month now.for god sake get your bloody act in order

    I went in today to pick up a new prescription which I’ve never taken before. Gave all my information to the person behind the counter. When asked “ do you pay for your prescription” I said I’m not sure how it works I’ve just “signed on, started universal credit last week” could you please tell me what I need to do. The person behind the counter did not understand what I was saying and went in the back behind a wall which I can see 3 head over the top looking and talking about me which made me felt very demeaning indeed. The person came back and said I need to show proof of which I showed her the universal credit agreement on my phone. The person looked at it for no more than a brief glance and said no not an appointment and carried on talking saying that I needed to pay and fill out form. I said fine not a problem and asked were they sure this is what I needed to do as I don’t want to pay and fill out a form for it all to be wrong. This person then told me to”stop being rude and fill out form. The person gave me the form, with under a minute of me reading and filling out the form the person raises their voice and says “you only need to fill out the first form” They had only given me one form. I did not know if I was meant to fill out the just one side of the form or both. As I read on I understood I needed to fill out both sides of the form. When I gave the the form back and paid the person was so incredibly rude to me in demeanour, tone of voice as though I had just been scraped off a shoe. The person glanced at the form I had filled out not realising that both sides had to be filled out. I can not be the only person who has started universal credit and have to pick up medication. The person said it was my responsibility which I understand but the person did not know what to do, More importantly how to own up and say simply that they did not know the correct procedure and make the customer (me) feel utterly worthless and stupid and honestly shaking from the experience. Not only this , 20 minutes later I get a call from the doctors saying that I had left some form there in the pharmacy. I tried to explain that I could not get back there to which the reply was, “it’s to do with the pharmacy you will have to take it up with them”. Then the phone was abruptly hunk up on me. It was obvious that they had been talking and I was the bad guy. I have to go back every couple of weeks for the foreseeable future and honestly right now I’m dreading it not to mention I bet I won’t receive money back which I really can not afford right now. No one should have to be made to feel or put in the position I was today. Also.... I only had to say my name and address to get prescription not show proof of who was but when I came to pay whole different matter.

    Staff in this chemist are very friendly and always happy to help. When my little girl was really sick they helped me to choose the right medication. When I went back a few weeks later they remembered me and were asking if my daughter was doing ok now. Always use this Pharmacy so does my family.
