I find staff very helpful and informative and the atmosphere seems to be changing behind the counter so maybe there have been new recruits etc.

I have been using this Pharmacy for years, they offer a wide range of services. I always have my annual flu jab here due to the Pharmacist administering it, I have found to be pain free and easier and more convenient in that it is a walk in service, to have this completed rather than booking it at the GP's upstairs. My prescription items are always in stock and when receiving a new medication they always give great advice and follow up care by telephoning you seven days after treatment has commenced. My prescriptions are booked online and these are sent to the pharmacist electronically which fits in with my work and lifestyle. I become frustrated however as to the lack of staff on the counter especially during busier times, and the delay to take prescriptions of the system to make these up when sent down from the GP upstairs. There seems to be a large team through the back with usually only one staff member running of their feet, taking prescriptions, giving advice on over the counter medications, sales of front counter items and collecting pre-made up scripts from through the back. I am sure that they have a reasons for being busy through the back but two staff on the counter at times would be great. The staff could also whilst being helpful as they are , smile and be welcoming. I am sure that the counter staff if supported would be happier during busier times. Otherwise a fantastic pharmacy offering great deals front of counter, lots of advice, accuracy in prescriptions, follow up care, private consultations including annual jabs. The staff team has few turnovers so you get to know you and you them. Local service for local people.
