I have been visiting staveley pharmacy for a number of years. The staff arealways so helpful and supportive and willing to go the extra mile. They offer a great service and quite often save a visit to the GP via their minor ailments scheme. The main pharmacists have a wealth of knowledge and willing to give up their time to really listen to your concern and offer the right advice. I am really grateful we have such a service in our village. | ||||||

My name is Mary Raynor and I am 39 years old. I have used both the Minor Ailment and Stop Smoking Services offered at Staveley Pharmacy Cumbria. I found the treatment I received via the Minor Ailment Service was excellent. The treatment was quick and efficient. It not only saved me time and money but also it saved me going to see my G.P therefore freeing up appointments for other patients and saving the NHS time and money. I feel the Minor Ailment Service at Staveley Pharmacy Cumbria is a vital service and one that should definitely continue. I could not fault it. I also used the Stop Smoking Service at the Pharmacy. The advice and support I received from the Pharmacist was second to none. They were excellent and offered the service in a relaxed and professional manner. Before I started on the Stop Smoking Plan I was smoking 35 cigarettes a day and had smoked for 25 years. Three months later I am a non smoker. Not only has it saved me money it has also helped to improve my health. Before I stopped smoking I was constantly getting chest infections or having severe asthma attacks often resulting in a hospital admission. That has now stopped which saves the NHS time and money. It is a vital service. The pharmacist was amazing. They were non judgemental and offered advice and encouragement throughout the 12 week plan which was tailor made for me. I would like to add that the Pharmacist and the staff that work at Staveley Pharmacy Cumbria are amazing. They are polite, very helpful and offer a relaxed yet professional service. I would certainly use them again and would recommend them to family and friends. | ||||||
