Saturday 31/10/15 approx 15.30 I gave the assistant (dressed in white uniform) details of my 93 year old mothers symptoms of a suspected water infection. The pharmacist on duty came over to recommend treatment. I explained again, passing small amounts of urine frequently and burning sensation. They first tried to recommend Canisten to which I informed them that it wasn't thrush! (surely she should have known the difference?) Next they recommended some sachets which I bought. They asked if mum had high blood pressure, which she doesn't and off I went home. Good job I read the directions as it stated that diabetics cannot take the treatment they recommended. Luckily mum hadn't taken any so I went back down to Asda and complained to a different pharmacist (I think there had been a shift changeover) This pharmacist was most apologetic and said I should have been asked if mum was diabetic, given her age. They showed me an alternative treatment which diabetics can take without serious consequences. What kind of training had the first pharmacist had? No confidence in them at all. I will not be using that facility again and will discourage anyone I know to do likewise.

A friend of mine spoke to one of the pharmacists about a personal matter in confidence. Unfortunately this pharmacist did not respect confidentiality, and discussed the customer's personal issues with others outside work! Beware customers. All the the other pharmacists are very good.
