I will never step foot in this chemist again. I have lived in London for 4 years and regularly visit this as my local chemist however on my last visit I opted to pay with a £20 Scottish bank note as I had recently been home in Glasgow - it was point blank refused!!!! The staff then went on to explain to me and the other customer in the store that they only accept English notes and not Scottish or Northern Irish - ironically the other customer was in fact Northern Irish and completely disgusted. I am appalled at such a narrow minded attitude towards other nationalities in what is supposed to be a multi cultural community. I was completely taken back and embarrassed when my money was handed back to me. There should be a sign on the store door that they only accept English Custom. | ||||||
