I rang Boots Truro Pharmacy during opening hours several times. No answer. I rang again to get through to customer service. No answer. Each time I rang for about 5 minutes. Every time I go into boots, there is a shortage of staff or staff that have not been trained to answer my question. I am well aware of the current economocial crisis but I expect at least to be able to leave a message, or to be advised how long I might have to wait until a member of staff can take my call. The lack of service I have received is appalling and no excuse can justify that level of customer neglect. Every little helps and efficient management is just about that... efficacy especially during these unprecedented times. |

Trying to get through since 8.30am this morning and just got through at 12.04. We are a busy GP surgery and have been trying to get through to discuss a prescription stuck on the spine.
Please could Boots make better provision for their professional colleagues to contact them to discuss clinical queries
Many thanks |

I came in to get some cough mixture for my daughter. I queued at the pharmacy to find that the staff member was still chatting to the previous customer. This went on for some time to the point that it was the customer who apologised to me for the delay. At this point the staff member said don't worry she can go to another checkout. I found this very rude and was astounded by the lack of customer service. Thankfully a member of staff from behind the pharmacy noticed how long I had been waiting and logged on to the cash till and served me. I am quite surprised at the bad attitude of this staff member. I am of ethnic origin but was hoping it was not due to this and that the staff member was just having a bad day, but as I was being served I noticed they served the next lady with a smile. This left me feeling a little sad that this kind of thing is still happening. It is my first experience of this kind and I hope it will be my last as all the people I have met so far in Cornwall have been just lovely. |
