I was spoken to like I was a criminal after I presented a prescription that I was given just 10 mins before hand at our local hospital, the lady pharmacist asked me when did you get this prescription?? I said just now in a&e ! Who gave it to you? A dr? Yes from the James Paget she said I do not know where this is! the prescription had been incorrectly dated so the pharmacist was unable to dispense the medication I needed for a bad infection! She told me to take it back and get the dr to change the date so I said unfortunately the dr left after seeing me I know this as I see him walk out of the main entrance. She said any dr can change it but surely this would be fraud? I was just sbout to leave to have the prescription re issued when a lady who was waiting for her prescription said there is a drop in clinic at the hospital they maybe able to help when the pharmacist shouted at me over the counter Listen to me listen to me go get it changed and come back we close at 22:30pm! I have never felt like this after leaving a pharmacy before the prescription was for antibiotics anyone would think it was for a strong pain killer or methadone to say I am disappointed in a fellow healthcare professional is an understatement , I also work for the nhs and we all have training on how to deal with the general public I suggest that you consider sending this perticular lady on a refresher course.

I came all the way from Belton the website Said you open at 6.30am I needed to get medicine urgently when I got there to find that the farmicey doesn't open till 7am had to stand around till Thay open not a very happy man
