This is a really appallingly badly run pharmacy. A typical visit to pick up a prescription goes like this. 1.Join end of queue which is usually out of the door and into the surgery reception area .2 Wait in said quee at least 20 mins. There'll only be one person serving although there appears to be plenty more staff hiding in the back. The two regular servers both only have one speed ,dead slow. 3 Eventually you get served, "I've come to pick up a prescription". The server disappears into the back and about 5 mins later returns and says either, A We are out of that you'll have to come back in a couple of days, or B the pharmacist hasn't put it up yet and you'll need to wait ( this usually involves sitting for another 30 mins). So I say "your Pharmacy has had the presecription for a couple of days so why haven't they put it up"...."Well we're busy". Yes dear I know your busy but if folks have to wait like this all the time why don't you get some extra staff? My recommendation to anyone who reads this is go elsewhere, do not use this Pharmacy unless you like sitting waiting your life away. |

but It’s not possible. Every month when I order my prescription which is delivered because I am disabled by the time I receive it it’s 4-6 Days. I take quite a lot of medication and so sometimes they have to ordered it. Subsequently I have to wait longer and I run out of other medication on my list. I rang the chemist to see if they would send the medication that they have for me instead of waiting until everything was in. The individual that I spoke to was very rude and her reply was “this is a voluntary service we provide for you, so we won't.
This last Monday the Paramedics had to come out to me and subsequently myDr. Who wrote a prescription out for me to help me breath. She knew I had it delivered so she said she would put it into the Pharmacy.
It is now Thurs 27th September and I cannot breath easily and am still. Waiting for my prescription. I have not contacted the chemist as I would be wasting my time. Last
Month when I ordered I ran out of some medication, so I rang. Was told it was on the van and delivered. No it wasn’t. The Manager had to deliver them 10.30pm.
I just hope I don’t kick the bucket before I get the medication.
