I have been with this chemist for a few years now. At the beginning they were great but unfortunately this last 12-18 months not so good. My prescription is never ready when I go to collect even thought the GP has put it through some 5 days before I collect. I did ask about this and was told that due to covid they were extremely busy and prescriptions were not put up when they arrive. So I can spend some 15 mins waiting when I arrive to collect. What has prompted this review is that yesterday I went to see whether my GP had sent my prescription through. I was told no. I asked if I could buy the medication without prescription, yes, but they do not keep it in stock. I then asked if I could order it and was told yes. I asked if my prescription comes through by tomorrow when the meds are due can I have it via my prescription so I do not have to pay. Yes that will be fine. I have rung today and was told me prescription arrived yesterday afternoon and they had to order my items because they do not keep them in stock. I explained about yesterday, I was asked did you pay for the order, no, because it would not be in until today. Well now I have ordered the item again, when we get your prescription if we do not keep in stock we order it for the next day. Yes I understand that but yesterday my conversation with one of your colleagues took that into account so when the meds come in then it will be set aside for my prescription. So I didnt do anything wrong I was just looking after my own interests, do you agree. Well no you didnt do anything wrong also the other item on your prescription is out of stock and we cant get it, oh right, I will ring the gp again for an alternative. Not quite the same experience as the other customers.
