My prescription was not available when I called to collect it , 4 days after I had left my request at the doctors. I had been instructed on a previous occasion that 3 days was the minimum time required.
A staff member told me that a new policy of sending prescriptions to the head office was now the system and that customers had been made aware of it, this is not the case.
Does Rolland no longer employ a qualified chemist
on site in Formby?If they do why are prescriptions being sent to another location?

I called in to Rowlands at 5 pm on News Years Eve needing to buy a GTN (anti-angina) spray as I'd left mine overseas. Having felt unwell through the day I also asked for a blood pressure test. The assistant was helpful and obliging and after finding that she had two high bp readings called in the Regular Pharmacist, presumably the Managing Pharmacist who insisted I visited the doctors surgery next door at now 5.30 pm on New years Eve. Firm but concerned, she pleaded my case with the overworked receptionist and encouraged her to get the doctor to fit me in. I am hugely indebted to the managing Pharmacist's forceful approach to ensure my welfare and get me an appointment. MY bp returned to normal over the next few days and I am now awaiting further tests. Well done Rowlands for being forceful on my behalf and enabling me to get a (free) bp reading and a doctor's appointment. You are the best !! Original Comment Report...
