This is the worst pharmacy I've ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. They hardly ever answer the telephone and if they do they bark at you like you've interrupted their day and ruined their week. They speak to the customers like rubbish and make you feel like you're inconveniencing them. They are rude, abrupt and never get your prescription correct. I've had to double check my medication ever time due to errors. This is very serious and they couldn't give a fig. The queue is always out of the door with the staff wandering about the empty shelved shop looking bewildered. The staff I have encountered have all but 1 been extremely arrogant, the only 1 pleasant lady in there is an older lady who looks like she does her best to keep everyone happy and does more than her fair share of pulling this abysmal pharmacy out of the cr@p. Several years ago I was asked to sign up for repeat prescriptions by Boots Pharmacy. It was explained I would receive a text each month informing me my prescription was ready and after ticking the boxes for repeat prescriptions I would receive a great service. Well it worked like a dream for a year or so but no longer. For the past 6 months the service has been awful, prescriptions not ready on time. You call back and pick it up to find something is missing. Nobody accepts responsibility for the level of poor service. They blame your surgery. For the past two months it has become even worse. I ran out of medication on 2 occasions because Boots seem to think there are 5 weeks in a month not 4. I am now in the process of going back to basics and picking my prescriptions myself and getting them dispensed in a tchemist of my choice. It will certainly not be Boots. | ||||||

This pharmacy is pleasant to walk into and the staff they have are friendly and efficient. However over the last year or so there have been less and less staff and therefore the staff who are there appear more and more stressed and are bombarded with complaints because people are having to wait far too long for their prescriptions. Also as a community pharmacy it was always nice to have staff who remembered you and could spend a little time chatting especially to older customers like myself and others who may not see anyone else for days on end to have a short chat with. Now because of staff shortages and pressure of their workload the few staff available barely have time to say hello. Personally I find this is a great shame and I feel more customers will not return having heard others moaning and saying they will not return until Boots sort things out and get enough staff to be able to give people the care and attention that they have been used to over the years. I feel really sorry for the staff who are doing their best in difficult situations . | ||||||
