Unbelievable experience of trying to buy a box of Buscopan! I had to speak to a jobsworth pharmacist who refused to sell them to me!! Hardly class A medication! I have purchased these for years over the counter however he refused and said they were sold as pharmacy medication!! Informing me ‘in his experience this has always been the case....’ this brings into question his experience, as a late fifty year old man I would have hoped he knew his products as this has not been the case and I proven this by going to another chemist and picking them of the shelf and paying for them as I usually do without being interrogated!! Still completely dumbfounded why I had to experience which a non helpful frontline person who is meant to help the community. I had hoped to take my business to a local privately owned business in these challenging times but never again will I use this store, and would advise anyone from asking for help from the pharmacist. Definitely go elsewhere for a non confrontational experience.
