I am a regular patient of this pharmacy and have to say the level of service I receive each time is above and beyond anything I could ask for. All the staff know me by my first name and are so friendly and approachable. The manager, especially is an excellent and very knowledgeable chemist who makes me weekly trays for my medication which are always ready on time. I cannot thank them all enough |

On Easter Saturday my mother was prescribed some urgent medication after seeing the on call GP. The pharmacist said that they only had 2 days worth of tablets left and said that a new supply would be delivered on the Monday morning. I live some distance away from my parents and had plans for the Monday however cancelled as I knew that she required the medication. I waited till lunch time on the Monday to collect the tablets. They had not arrived at the pharmacy. The same again on Tuesday morning. As a result my mother has become more and more distressed and confused and required the Dr's at her surgery to visit on the Tuesday. I advise that promises should not be made ,if I had known the tablets would have not been delivered (as promised) on the Monday I would have gone elsewhere. I assure you that no further prescriptions will be taken to this pharmacy . The pharmacist was not apologetic at all in fact quite offhand.Repeated journeys by me and also by one of my friends with regards to this matter has infuriated myself and my friend but most importantly left my mother in a distressed state !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Just before a gastric band op , I went into Kidderminster Tesco Pharmacy and asked to speak to the Management. They were very welcoming and asked how they could help. I explained about my operation to come and that I need to have either liquid or very small tablets to take as there would soon be little space to swallow. I have over 30 items on my script. They took a copy and said they would be in touch. Only a few days later, they were back to me with a further list for my GP of replacement melds for me to take. They are a very busy person and yet managed to help me very quickly and satisfactorily. Every time a script goes in it is sorted out within a reasonable time . Not long ago, I went to collect my script and something ( painkillers) had been missed off . This was at 4-00pm on a Friday afternoon. The Management was due to finish at this time, they rang the Surgery and requested a script for them, got in their car, fetched it and filled the prescription for me. All with a lovely smile on their face and glad to help. I am wheelchair bound and it would have taken some effort from me to go through what they had just done for me.That to me is going far beyond your remit and shows they love their patients and their job. The other members of staff are always welcoming and helpful, which makes it a pleasure to visit. Thank you to all in The Pharmacy. It really does make a difference. |
