Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

Well chemist, Beam st., Nantwich. Big problems obtaining varied doses of Adalet and Ibuprofen. Prescriptions never made up until you go to collect drugs. Then takes minimum of 30 mins, and often a further 30 mins when returning. Insufficient Staff to make up scripts. Patients having to go back up to surgery and ask for an altered script in a different diseage format as basic 10 mg tabs not available to make up a 30mg dose. Pharmacists not telling gp doctors about scarcity of certain drugs. Patients waiting 3 weeks to get regular monthly BP tabs, and having g to make repeated visits backwards and forward.where is the communication between pharmacists and GPs? Why aren't GPs doing anything about this appalling situation. Shortage of drugs is being hidden, and patients are left to sirt these problems. Wells area manager needs to urgently get down to Nantwich. More staff, new systems for dispensing. I have never known such.poor service Original Comment Report...
