I attended the pharmacy along with a client who was there to collect medication. I requested the medication to be delivered to the project which I manage and where the client resides. The counter staff were extremely helpful but said they would need to speak to the manager. This is where the experience went downhill. The manager was dismissive from the start as my colleague had been in the previous week to try and arrange this but was told no due to the location of our project (central Bath). I informed the manager that other pharmacies delivered medication without any issues to the address. At this point one of the counter staff offered to help and said they would not mind delivering. The manager then shocked me by shooing them away with a dismissive wave of their hand and told them to be quiet, this is not your business. The issue I have is not with the fact the Manager was unhelpful and rude towards me as I could just walk away but their manner towards the staff was appalling. I have tried to complain to the NHS but have received an email back stating they do not deal with complaints of this nature around this pharmacy. I think it needs to be made clear how this pharmacy is managed and how the staff are treated there. I was not impressed unfortunately.
