Having had excellent service from this chemist for many years . Extremely helpfull in every way . So when I moved I changed to boots in George street thinking boots has given me excellent service I changed to my new local boots . Nothing could be further from the truth . The complete opposite unhelpful rude service was terrible . And all though it was miles away from my new address within a couple of days I had my text to say my prescription was ready . I collect daily prescriptions and have been for 3/4 years now so I’ve used a few different pharmacies, not just Boots, and this one is completely and utterly, head and shoulders above any other I have used. ALL staff, including pharmacists are brilliant! They are all polite, non judgmental, helpful, chatty and I couldn’t fault them whatsoever. And the fact I have used a few different ones means that what I’m saying should be taken note of, if, like me you need to collect a daily prescription and live nearby then you should look nowhere else! The fact I have to use their George street branch on Sunday (well not anymore after today) shows just how great they are! I have just left a really grotty BUT honest review about George Street and didn’t want all branches to be put in the same bracket as them so felt it was only right to leave this one for credit where credit is due. | ||||||

I received a txt today (29/1/18) from Boots 10/11 Queens Parade, BN3 saying my prescription was ready. As my partner was close to Boots, she went and asked for the prescription. The person (who was new) serving her said there was no prescription for me. Later the same day, I went along and showed my txt message (it must have been the same person as they mentioned my wife had already inquired) and again I was told no prescription. I reminded her that it was probably something to do with a previous unfulfilled prescription, and again I was told that nothing had been received, but the person serving new about the medicine having manufacturing problems which she said they still had. I remembered that I had a receipt for the unfulfilled prescription and had received the text message saying I had a prescription ready, when again I was told that there was nothing for me. Fortunately another person (who I have seen on many occasions at this Boots) indicated that she needed to look in the prescription box (you would have thought this was common sense) where my prescription/medicine was found. No apology or even the slightest bit of regret was shown which was disappointing and I was annoyed enough to write this review. Boots please train you staff on the basics of serving in a pharmacy and being polite and attentive. My partner and I wasted over an hour at this pharmacy due to your badly trained staff. | ||||||
