I have used this pharmacy for several years for my regular repeat prescriptions. It is very busy, mostly from what I can see, dispensing prescriptions, and I've never seen a time when staff spend time chatting to each other at the expense of waiting customers. As I have a few miles to travel, I usually phone first to see if my online prescription is ready, and never have to wait long for an answer. Even when the dispensing staff are busy, I note that they treat customers asking for advice and over the counter medicines with courtesy and patience. My prescription medicine reviews aren't rushed, and I've been given excellent advice (not available on the manufacturer's information sheet) about the means of getting the best from my medicines. I know that some customers expect to be dealt with at a moments notice, but having a little patience to allow the pharmacists to do their job should be acceptable to everyone. Theirs is a complex and skilled job, and it would take only a moments lack of attention for an error to occur, with serious consequences. I started using this branch after another company's branch which I used became slapdash (losing prescriptions in one case) when new management ran it. The huge difference, for the better, was noticeable, and I am glad to carry on using it. I can only speak as I find, and I find the service at the branch to be excellent.
