First of all the pharmacy is filthy! Everything is covered in dust, simply disgusting when you think they deal with people's medication. The staff do not offer any advice, not even when asked a straight forward question. It's like they are interested in anything but the person standing in front of them. No questions asked, just givem whatever you ask for. I've noticed that minor ailments scheme is done by a dispenser or anybody else but the pharmacist who is always bothered to come and have an actual conversation with a patient. I wouldn't recommend going in there if you want to be given good advice...or dirty boxes.. |

Annoyed by the standard of service I have received from here.
I've been using this pharmacy regularly for around three years . The level of service varies between average and poor. Medication is sometimes slow to be prepared (and found..), a couple of the staff are pleasant but a couple basic to the point of being rude/ignorant. However, I kept using as I assured myself there is probably worse and it's a convenient location.
I made an appointment for a Stop Smoking session and I was clearly told to come 'tomorrow' at 5pm. I turned up the following day five minutes before the appointment only to be told that the appointment had in fact been diarized for the day after meaning that I had wasted oven an hour of my time when I am very busy.
I justifiably complained and one of the staff members just held up the diary AT me to try and prove that I was wrong. Of course all this shows is that the entry was made incorrectly as I know perfectly well that I was told 'tomorrow' (very clear & unambiguous not like a date or a day).
I can understand that mistakes happen but it's just the complete lack of empathy or respect for another person that annoyed me as the staff member in question clearly could not give a hoot.
It goes without saying that I won't be using again. |

My experience of visiting The Blackbird Pharmacy on Wednesday 27 th December, follows.
When I entered the above Pharmacy, a Gentleman approached me. During our brief exchange of business, No Greetings or Basic Courtesies of Good Morning, thank you, please etc....passed his lips to me.
In fact, he gave me the impression he did not want to be There, and helping me out was a burden.
What a way to run a Service and Business. |
