They're closed between 1 and 2 but there's no mention of this anywhere. You have to go to the shop to find this information out. |

Received an email from Dejure Ltd ( parent company of Andrew McCoig Pharmacy on 2nd July reminding me to order my repeat prescription- which I did on the same day 2nd July via the NHS app- which sends the request to my Doctor’s surgery. Called Andrew McCoig this morning to check my prescription was ready to collect. The young lady who answered the phone - was incredibly rude- talking over me when I was explaining that their email notification prompted me to order my repeat prescription. She flatly denied they sent emails to patients- blamed it on the surgery - was so rude on the phone - I asked her if her parents hadn’t taught her how to talk to people. And asked to speak to the manager - she was the manager apparently. She was shouting, saying she had no time for my prescription or to sort out the problem and put the phone down . I called back & spoke to a bloke who was nice but dim . I told him if the email from Dejure - which st first he denied was linked to Andrew McCoig- then said ‘Head Office ‘ shouldn’t have sent it out & he’d get onto them . I called McCoigs other branch on Limpsfield Road. A helpful lady told me the ‘Head Office ‘ was the McCoig’s branch I had been speaking to in South Croydon. They had blatantly lied to a patient! NO EXCUSES. They are rude, dismissive & very unpleasant people - the Manager & her side kick. It’s gone downhill since the old English gentleman Manager left . He was part of our community & was very civil & helpful. THIS LOT ARE NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING PATIENTS. Their commmnication with Parkside surgery is hit & miss & they’ll often blame their unprofessional errors on the Surgery or ‘shout down the patients. |

1st attempt they didnt have the inhaler in stock after taking 10 minutes to find the request on EPS
2nd attempt 2pm on a Saturday-they close at 1pm . 3rd attempt came out of work to collect on Monday but they have no phamacist 1-2pm cant collect anything. There is a scruffy note by the till advising this but nothing on the opening times or on this website. 4th attempt arrived back at 2pm to be told still no phamacist she will be back at 2.10pm. A member of staff was asleep by the counter! I have never experienced such a unprofessional pharmacy and would certainly not use again. As a healthcare manager I am very surprised that a pharmacy located so close to a GP surgery can operate like this |
