Two weeks back, my dad, went to collect a prescription on my behalf. Before giving the prescription to my dad, the pharmacist, so called, checked the name and address and medication. When when he got the medication home, the name on the prescription was clearly not mine, and the tablets were Amitriptyline, not Amdolopine. A few days after, my parents took the prescription back and told them the situation, the apologised, and said the person that handed out the prescription previous, wasn't not in at the time, but would phone us to apologise for what they had done. We still haven't received a call from them. I think that this is disgusting service. This situation could have been dangerous, life threatening, even though I did not take the tablets, the pharmacy is liable and I am taking the matter further. What if I was blind of partially sighted??? Also at times they cannot find prescriptions and say they haven't arrive from the GP, and other times we become overloaded with prescriptions. Worst pharmacy ever, since having too many staff running the place, and don't blame Covid, as that is a cop out with people.
