My wife has to collect several prescriptions per month and I have never had a good experience at this pharmacy. The queues are regularly the length of the store (it's a big store) and when you get to the front there is only one person serving and several milling around apparently doing nothing behind the counter. To make matters worse the store is always about 30 degrees, I'm surprised they don't have people collapsing in the queue. If you have the patience and get to the front of the queue there is usually some lame excuse why they haven't got your prescription. If you try to ring to check if the prescription is ready (don't rely on the text service) they never answer.

This branch of Boots has the worst pharmacy service you will ever come across. There are always staff wandering around the store not doing very much while the ever increasing queue at the pharmacy has one staff member serving customers at a snails pace. I have collected my prescription there on three occasions since my previous pharmacy closed. The queue has reached double figures on each visit and I have waited not less than 15 minutes each time. I have now contacted my GP surgery to have my prescriptions redirected.

I've been to collect my prescription twice now since my old pharmacy has closed down. Both time I waited for over an hour because the que so long. On the second occasion only 1 item out of 5 was ready, when I said I'd had a text to say my prescription was ready the assistant said oh the text was only for this item! He told me to wait again, which I did for another 20 minutes, to then be told I would have to come back again in a few days because they didn't have my insulin. The whole system is a bad joke! I will be contacting my GP to arrange a different pharmacy. Such a shame as my old pharmacy opposite to my surgery, was quick, friendly & organised.
