A quiet local pharmacy needed by the community, the staff are friendly and helpful. In a side street its main purpose is for prescriptions to the sick. Contains a small selection of the basic over the counter items you might need for people who are not well, like pain killers, flu remedies and other basic pharmacy medications but they can get a lot more within 24 hours. Not lots of hair dye, makeup or perfume just an essential local pharmacy. If there is a problem it’s that it’s only open Monday to Friday, it’s closed Saturday and Sunday. This has never been a problem for me, I used to travel over a mile and half to the next nearest pharmacy until I found out about this one just a round the corner and I have used it every time since. The doctors send my prescription to the pharmacy and sometimes it’s delivered and sometimes I collect it. If I go in I have never waited more than ten minutes to get a prescription maid up, most of the time it’s done right away in a few minutes. My other pharmacy had me waiting most times twenty minutes sometimes for an hour. I use this one at least once a week and I think it’s a great little pharmacy a little gem for the local community. A little exercise for elderly and disabled who want to go out but not to far. For your prescription needs I would recommend. |

So I don't really know where to begin. I came to pick up my prescription because it is the closest to where I live but never ever again. They didn't have enough stock so I only got half of my prescription which is pretty standard medication. But I work in the NHS so get that it can happen, I'm not so bothered by that as much as I am by the damp and mould in there??? The pharmacy is a tiny shack surrounded by a barbed wire fence. The smell of damp hits you when you first walk in, it was filthy everywhere, messy, dark and dingy, I have never seen anything like it. I don't know how it's still open, it made me think of somewhere in the third world, not an NHS pharmacy. Don't be lazy like I was, go 5 minutes extra down the road to a different place. |
