This Boots pharmacy has written the book! I have no idea why they even offer the repeat prescription service because the customer has to do all the legwork themselves.
God forbid you have some scripts every three months and then some every two, ''can't compute, can't compute'', they simply explode!!
Back you have to go AGAIN to ask the Dr if he could please ''sync'' all of your meds to run out at the same time because the pharmacist is unable to do anything other than ask your name and address.
This is by far the most confused pharmacy on the south coast, they will tell you one thing, yet the Repeat Prescription Service you've signed up for tells you the complete opposite.
I've heard it all from this place, ''No 'we don't' reorder your prescription, you have to''
''No we can't sync your scripts the Dr won't listen to us, you have to ask them''
What's meant to be an easy convenient service for ''customers'' is, in reality, a constant battle trying to educate the staff on how the system works.
When an off-licence continuously sells alcohol to underage kids, it gets it's licence taken away, then staff are retrained, this is EXACTLY what needs to happen here, it isn't the job of customers to retrain the pharmacist into the services they claim to offer. |

This is without doubt the worst dispensary I have ever known, they have a high turnover of staff, some dispensary staff are ....abrupt, rude and useless, they are unable to work the computer system - they attempt to issue out wrong prescriptions - they fail to send out reminders for repeat prescription collection – they fail to prepare repeat prescriptions – they fail to prepare prescriptions ready for collection that have been sent to them by medical centres/Doctors, it is incredible that this low level of service is allowed to continue... |
