i called the Stock Road Pharmacy regarding medications of our resident unfortunately no one answer the call and continually ringing. This experienced what i have i need to do the action, i need to ask assistance to local authority, CCG and CQC. | ||||||

I went to collect my prescription today, which was a Saturday morning and it wasn’t busy, in fact there was only one person waiting ahead of me. Whilst I waited I could hear a lot of laughing from the consultation room. I didn’t think anything of it until I was told I was waiting because the pharmacist was in the consultant room. She was not in there with a patient but what I can only assume was another member of staff. I had to ask another visitor who came in after me if this was normal for to wait this long as I wasn’t sure if this was normal practice. After 30 minutes I did have to ask after my prescription. The pharmacist had a complete lack of regard towards people using Shadforths and I would be inclined to use another pharmacy in future. Reply from Shadforth Pharmaceutical Co Lt Tue, 17 Sep 2019 09:25:16 +0100 I have spoken with the Manager/Pharmacist and her staff to get an understanding on what has happened, and they are currently reviewing their processes and discussing the changes they need to make to ensure it doesn't happen in the future. They would like to apologise for the delay and for not keeping you better informed. My understanding is that at the time the Pharmacist was assisting a member of staff carrying out an NHS Healthcheck, but even so we would not expect you to have been as delayed as you were, and for that I apologise. I will continue to work with the branch to ensure changes are made to the branches working practices and that these changes are permanent.
