This has been myself and my wife's pharmacy for the better part of three years. I wish I could give a higher rating for the friendly staff, but my experience has not been acceptable especially in the last year. About half the time I can collect prescriptions and dispensings with minimal fuss, but the other half of the time it takes half an hour or more for just a few items. Our medications are virtually never bagged and ready to collect straight away. I'm not sure if they need more staff or have a logistical problem, but it's frankly ridiculous the amount of hassle that is created over a simple repeat dispensing. On one occasion I had to go home and find my prescription number as the pharmacist did not believe that my prescription was valid, despite coming regularly to collect it for months. Another time, I spent an hour trying to convince the pharmacist to dispense my wife's medication, but he wrongly believed she already had been given enough. She was either lying or taking too many, he said. No-one was willing to help me until another pharmacist came back from lunch and actually looked at my wife's file properly, seeing she did indeed have another dispensing to collect. I don't understand how we could use the pharmacy for so long and so often, and yet still run into so many basic errors and incompetence.
