Never have medicines in stock and lie about sending you a reminder for when your medicine is ready

My family are patients at the surgery the chemist is situated. I have been collecting my child's epilepsy medication consistently for 11years from here On this occasion I went to collect the prescription. The person behind the counter informs me they have not got it in stock and there is nothing she could do. I advised I needed some today as had ran out and pointed out the possible implication of not receiving it. I asked if she could phone other chemist's to source the medication to which her response was no, there is no reason I can't do that! This person was rude and argumentative throughout. She refused to help with locating an alternative chemist and then suggested that I should have ordered the prescription through the chemist. I hadn't due to it being a longer process. Patient care was not provided despite the potential risk to a child's health. Her attitude and customer service was appalling. I would not recommend this pharmacy at all and will be issuing a formal complaint.
