Held repeat prescription which was not ready, I was requested to provide name, address and prescription detail in front of a store full of people. Then advised it was my fault for not reticking the repeat option. Told to wait for the pharmacist who was dealing with a problem with the customer in front of me. Eventually talked to the pharmacist who advised that they had requested a prescription from the doctors (this contracticted the staff members account before when I was called a liar) and they had not replied. I was then left with no medication. I checked with the doctors surgery who had approved 3 weeks before. Another customer apologised to me for Boots service as they did not offer an apology. This is the second time I have had an issue here with repeat prescriptions, the first time I was told that they had sent a text to me (they hadn’t) this time they said they didn’t have my mobile number (another contradiction). I was sold the repeat prescription option by Boots as an enhanced service (lol), in which case I think it’s time to go back to the basic service, with someone else. Shame because the store is very handily placed for the local community and could just be a victim of its own success and represents Boots the brand. However with the rude service, it’s now time to move on to someone who can provide a friendly service.
