Hi,2 weeks ago I had to go to hospital,I took my medication with me, while waiting in A&E I lost my medication. I went to the chemist and I asked if I can have a one week emergency supply of medication, of varapamil to control my cluster headaches,I only needed one week supply as I was expecting my repeat prescription in 7 days time, I explained to the chemist I cannot miss a single day of this medication as it will lead to excruciating headache pain lasting at least 8 to 10 hours per episode. The chemist reluctantly replied I will not give you a emergency supply but will give me a week supply But will deduct it from my repeat prescription. I was horrified that the repeat prescription will have a weeks supply taken away. I pleaded with him not to do that, but he left me no choice but to walk away. I was left very very disappointed. I have now changed my chemist and will never use this chemist. Terrible service by the chemist in charge. Terrible Terrible. | ||||||

I have lived in Handsworth for 20 years and my grandparents have for over 50, in which time Marks Chemist has been our local chemist. The sales assistants and the pharmacist have always been very polite and helpful.
On one occasion when I went in I became very upset regarding the health of a relative. the sales assistant asked me if I would like to go into the private cubicle and speak to the pharmacist. The pharmacist was very respectful and clearly cared about my concerns. I was treated with sensitivity and I felt a lot better on leaving the shop.
The staff and the pharmacist all have a good relationship with their customers across the board regardless of what age. My grandparents won't go to any other pharmacist apart from this one and think very highly of them all, especially the pharmacist.

Outstanding service - this chemist has been my local chemist for a number of years the staff are polite and always on hand to help and go the extra mile. Since the refurbishment my shopping experience has been enhanced as the shop is now light and structured in such a way as to ensure easy product visualisation.
I wouod like to say a massive thank you for all the help in recent years with medicating my son and offering advices when he was ill. The service I recieved was second to none the excellent customers service is across the board from cashiers to the pharmacist | ||||||
