I used this pharmacy recently when my GP gave me a paper prescription rather than my usual electronic request. The young lady gave me a friendly greeting and said they would deal with it straight away if I wanted to wait. As I had one other shop to visit I said I'd call back in for it which I did approx. 5 minutes later. The young lady spotted me coming in and as soon as she had finished with the customer in front of me, got my made-up prescription off the shelf and brought it over to the counter, checked my details, handed it over with a smile and I was on my way again. How different to the in-store service I've previously experienced locally, where a minimum 15 - 20 minutes wait is normal, as is being "invited" to do some other store shopping while it's prepared. In fairness to the staff they have always been friendly and polite but the big store business model will rarely beat the service you receive from a smaller outlet that has to try harder to build, and keep, their local trade. I've now swapped my electronic pharmacy of choice to Pondas.
