There is something wrong with their phone line. I am a busy person who works until 6pm Monday-Saturday so if I am going to arrange time during my working day to collect my medication I would like to call in and check it is there (this is a neccesity for this pharmacy as well, as they are really not on top of their prescriptions, AT ALL.) Calling them, means prompting them to actually dispense your meds. But when they never pick up the phone (it rings and ring and rings, busy tone or not busy tone, it is ignored on all levels), that just means when you go in you waste even more time of them having to dispense it there and then (as an ex pharmacy dispenser I can confidently say) at a very reluctant speed. Or worse, you will have to return as they need to order the meds that they already should have ordered, and then come back to wait for them to dispense it lol. With this phone issue being so prevalent, I have literally stood outside for proof and rang the pharmacy repeatedly and watched absolutely nobody move a muscle for around 5 calls. Some staff are lovely, some really make you feel uncomfortable. And most importantly none of them appreciate the fact that if you require regular medication then it would be most lovely if they could honour the concept of their job role which is to provide a healthcare service to make life a little bit easier for those experiencing types of illness. I will be changing pharmacy now as I can not excuse the lack of effort any longer and it is now something I have to plan the rest of my working days around. It's a hassle and a headache, and there is minimum level of accountability there. I have many times heard them blame GP surgeries and even myself and other patients for their inadequecies. Been told so many times my prescription wasn't there or ready, when in fact, it had not yet been printed by them, or it was actually completely ready (after I had to call for it) and they just didnt look hard enough for it. I have seen them say a medication isn't in (after I have called and come in to check if it was there) and told to come back after it is ordered, only for someone else to check again and it be there (as I got confirmation of initially). All in all, the organisation is tragic, and the patients of this pharmacy have to suffer. For a pharmacy so inefficient, it would really be in their best interests to atleast answer phones to have some what of an idea of their to-do lists, and duties. It will save them a lot of angry customers as its not like if you DO go in, you will get the appropriate and professional service. SIgh. |

tried to buy over the counter painkillers but due to a pharmacist not being on the premises, this was refused. It took so much effort and caused so much pain getting there I was unable to find an alternative proper chemist. Recommend you avoid this shop as it is not a proper chemist and go directly to somewhere that will help you rather than make you worse. |
