took my 4 yr old boy, coz we wernt completely sure if he had chicken pox. the pharmacist was useless, he was like no its nt and he can go to school and just ring 111. not happy with the response, we took him to boots lowestoft, and thy comfirmed it was and tht we did the correct thing in getting a second opinion. she also stated tht asda clearly dont knw wht thy are talkin about. its those like asda tht cost the nhs money.

Lowestoft asda pharmacy is unorganised, there’s been a few occasions where I’ve gone to get my prescription and I either cancelled the repeat prescription last time I was in, or my doctor had stopped it months ago and I hadn’t had it since or they’ve blamed my doctors surgery (various reasons). I had to go 5 days without having my medication, which is so dangerous! I couldn’t even get any on emergency. Do not let them order your prescription in for you. Don’t even bother going there full stop. I can guarantee 9 times out of 10 it will not be there when you need it for. Can’t be relied on at all. I used asda pharmacy because it was convenient with its location, now I would rather go further knowing that I will come away with my tablets at the end of it.

111 contacted this pharmacy asking them to give my daughter who has severe anxiety an emergency supply of her medication as she had inadvertently run out at the start of a bank holiday weekend. It took a lot for her to visit them to make the request. The pharmacist said they didn’t know why 111 sent my daughter there and said it won’t hurt her to miss a few days tablets. They should know that it certainly does matter if any tablets of this sort are missed and they made a person with a mental health illness feel significantly worse.
