I have a lifelong need for medication and used to feel confident with the service from this chemist. I needed to do nothing other than collect my medication when I received a text. I never felt there was a risk of being without medication. The service was reliable and efficient.
Over the past year or so the service has been far less reliable. Medication is not available or it is available and I am not advised. I have developed a slight fear that I might not have medication on time.
I have also noticed that the store is now never fully merchandised. Understandably there is often a need to wait. Browsing full shelves while waiting would probably attract sales. |

This pharmacy seems to have gone downhill recently. My medication always used to be ready when I arrived to collect it but this is no longer the case.
For example: On Tuesday my partner visited to collect a prescription for me. After a significant wait he was told that it was not ready but would be later in the day. In fact, we left it until today, Friday, before trying again. I was disconcerted to find first of all they were not aware of the prescription having come to them and then after a long wait I was told that the drug order had not come in. I was asked to come back yet again on Saturday. I explained that I was going on holiday soon and did not want to risk finding myself without medication and a very helpful member of staff did give me enough of the prescription as they could from their supplies but this involved me waiting some considerable time. In all I was in the pharmacy for over an hour.
I question a) why now, prescriptions rarely seem to be ready for collection, b) why the pharmacy does not hold adequate stocks of drugs that they dispense regularly c) why they do not seem to have a grasp of where prescriptions are in their workflow d) why out of stock drugs are not identified immediately on receipt of the prescription from the GP.
Finally, I signed up for the text notification service but it seems to be very hit and miss. |

Apalling service 75% of the time. Very long wait times and now been waiting 7 days for my 2 year olds asthma medicine that they still have not got. They lie and tell me it needs checking then tell me they dont have it. Keep getting told to go back each day very annoying. |
