A terrible pharmacy which I did try to the benefit of the doubt before but finally had enough so changing pharmacy. Don't get me wrong the counter staff are excellent I think the problem lies with the pharmacist, who is rude, arrogant and obviously treats the staff like dirt. My problem with this place is that whenever I go in to collect a prescription which I often give myself two days collect are never ready. But the last time took the biscuit, I went in at 2 o'clock to collect my prescription, knowing they cant dispense without the pharmacist on premises and she takes lunch between 1 and 2, I was told she will be back in 10 minutes to check and dispense my prescription, so I decided to wait. Thirty minutes later the pharmacist strolled in and then disappeared out the back, she was told that customers where waiting but this was dismissed with a shrug. I walked out of the chemist at 2.45 with my prescription, never again. Appalling attitude to customers my the senior member of staff. |

Waited 45 mins with my 97 year old mother for her flu jab scheduled for 11.30am. Although we were there on the dot of 11.30am, she wasn't given her jab until 12.15 There was no -one in front of her. When I finally asked if she was going to be seen, staff replied in an off -handed way, that they were 'getting ready.' I approached staff 3 times to ask if/when she was going to be seen and received a similarly dismissive , disgruntled reply. Eventually, the door opened and I helped my mother who is barely mobile and in excruciating pain in. She reported that the pharmacist did acknowledge her with 'Good Morning' (no smile) but did not utter a single other word. When my mother asked her a couple of basic questions about the jab, she gesticulated or waved a piece of paper in front of her. Extremely rude and unpleasant. Horrible experience and so different from Lloyds where I took her last year! Whilst I understand the covid pressures, there's no excuse for rudeness or for such bad service, especially when managing the elderly who are anxious anyway about coming out. |
