Hi I wanted some pain killers for my partner as we where on holiday seeing some relatives the lady behind the counter was very rude and seemed to have very little knowledge of what was required after a while I left empty handed the lady had long blond hair and glasses hopefully this matter will be addressed and sorted and if I'm passing through I'll remember to go elsewhere. |

This is my local pharmacy and ive been coming here for many years I know they have to ask my address on each visit but after all this time me and the staff are still not on first name terms not even last I try and be friendly and polite but I don't think they care,a little example they normally text when my prescription is ready but they forgot this time I called and left a message but no body got back to me when I went in and asked why they didn't know there was no we are sorry about that it's just a bit off putting they are there for the community as a vital role to help the customers and be helpful and supportive I just wish they could be more friendly not just to me but to all customers alike I know it's a professional environment but a little humanity and empathy would be lovely. |

I went back to collect a private prescription that the pharmacist had had to order in for my Uni Student daughter, to find that she had intentionally ordered the tablets in the lowest strength, meaning she had to take 5 tablets a day instead of 3, and the prescription which had cost me at every other chemist I had been to £60.00(also extortionate), cost me £102.00 at this one. On questioning it and wanting to not accept the prescription i was told it was just the way they chose to order it and if i wasn't happy to go to a different pharmacy. I have since complained to the GPhC to be told it is entirely up to the Pharmacy's discretion as to what they want to charge for a private prescription. I am a single parent, my daughter is at Uni and the only reason she was going private is that her skin was so severe with acne that she managed to get private health care through her fathers work. I think this pharmacy's morals and practice is absolutely outrageous and scandalous and think everyone should be made aware of how they prey on vulnerable patients to make more money |
