I went to Asda to get medicine for my daughter under the minor ailment scheme and was told they no longer do it! Extremely unhappy Original Comment Report...

Although we do not currently offer this service from this pharmacy, we are looking into the possibility sometime in the future.

My son had been badly sunburnt so I called in to ask for an antiseptic cream that would be suitable for him. Having been kept waiting at the pharmacy counter for a long time whilst the two members of staff finished their social conversation the pharmacist greeted me with the word 'yes'. I explained what was needed and without comment they went into the dispensing area and almost immediately returned and just shook their head.
It is really disappointing that a professional person was so unhelpful. This is just the sort of issue about which a good local pharmacist should be able to provide support. Original Comment Report...

It was my understanding that the NHS wanted us to make use of of the local Chemist before wasting their time in over worked A+E departments and doctor's surgeries.
I popped along to the local asda store in Skem to purchase some Canisten cream, when they finally finished having a nice chat with each other I asked for the cream, I was asked if I'd used it before to which I replied yes so the assistant then went off to speak to the pharmacist and they said I had to go to the doctors I told them I was visiting from the north east and not home until the weekend, the pharmacist then told me to go to the walk in centre to which I declined as I wasn't going to waste their time for thrush. I then pooped along to another store and purchased the same cream. Original Comment Report...
