Friday lunchtime, six in a queue and only one lady on counter with a problematic sale due to silly cards and points. The queue grew but no one else came to serve. Putting the customers first seemingly not an option, and there were other staff out the back. Poor do. What happened to customer service? The other Boots in Todmorden us exactly the same. Employ more staff Boots.

Why does it take so long for them to answer the phone!? On hold for 10 minutes and then just cuts off! When you do get through they just try and fob you off!!

Absolutely appalling pharmacy. Two members of my household have repeat prescriptions due on a monthly basis. Prior to the managed repeat system being abolished we used this service. For over 2 years not one single prescription was correct, despite them having a whole month to get them together for the next time they were due. On phoning the pharmacy staff were rude and unapologetic. Being the only pharmacy in the village we were trapped with them and could literally go nowhere else. Complaint after complaint was voiced and still nothing changed. At one point, a manager from another pharmacy came into this branch to ‘sort it out’ as she informed me. Very little if nothing changed. Post managed repeat, we were allowed to continue to use the service as ‘vulnerable patients’. Still nothing has changed. Their excuse is that they are always incredibly busy. As much as I understand that, that’s not really good enough considering they are responsible for ensuring people’s medication is correct and ready for when it’s due. Especially considering said medication can mean the difference between life and death in our case. Todmorden is in desperate need of a pharmacy that can meet demand and can deliver what they promise.
