Just had a phone call (I live in Neath) from my father today (Christmas Day) that he is running out of the tablets prescribed to him following a heart attack 3 weeks ago. He has instructions from the hospital (which I saw last week end) with details of the tablets he was to take and that they were to a repeat prescription. As he 90 and hard of hearing it is most unlikely he will understand any explanation about the bureaucratic niceties involved in him getting this tablets prescribed to him. It does seem form what he has told me that you and his surgery were not very helpful in this respect and that seems very evident now given his current predicament. As such do you not think that between the surgery and yourself you should have had the expertise and level of care to have avoided this situation and to have ensured he had enough tablets to see him though the holiday period?
