Beardwood hospital service dissatisfied. Sudden Hearing loss. Doctor advised urgent ENT attention. Consultants good so far. Additional tests would be arranged. But..Outpatients appointment arrangements by dysfunctional/hopeless reception. Beardwood claim fast treatment on their website, for paying patients….should be days, but not true, ditto Bupa, more like weeks, even months for paying patient. Bupa members no priority, join the queue…as told by Beardwood ENT consultant. Reception fail to make appointments, fail to call back, thereby add weeks to treatment schedule. Need Beardwood details of incompetence, reception names? ask me. I wish I had gone to a different hospital than Bupa recommended. NHS must be better than paying for this poor treatment.

Very nervous about having hip replacement surgery, the staff were fantastic from the Porter to the Kitchen staff to the Nurses Anesthetist and of course the Surgeon I wouldnt want to go anywhere else for my next hip.
