Our mother was admitted to Silverways Nursing Home in January 2013 and subsequently died in October at the wonderful age of 102yrs. During this time she received wonderful care by all the nursing team and if it was not for their 24hr care she would not haved lived to this terrific age.The atmosphere is one of a very happy environment with an excellent manager and this is spread throught the home. All relatives are treated with consideration and kept well informed of the residents condition at all times and it has been a great pleasure and comfort to my sister and myself to know that she was well loved and treated with dignity and respect at all times.
especially as we live so far away and could only visit each month. There are plenty of activities for those who wish to participate and they have an excellent chef and it as been a real pleasure to visit and be part of this wonderful home and grateful for all their loving care. |

My brother moved to this home after a very severe stroke. Whenever we visit at any time of day , family and friends are always greeted by cheerful happy staff. There are always plenty of activities for the residents to do if they wish to join in. The home is well staffed and nothing is too much trouble for them, they support the family as well as the residents and keep us well informed of any changes in the residents condition. The manager is an excellent team leader to all the staff. |
